Tiny treasures

I have a love of miniature things. There, I've admitted it. A friend of mine once baffled a waiter while we were having dinner by asking if he could take the tiny jug (which was holding the chocolate sauce for his dessert) because I thought it was cute. So when I have the chance to go in a shop that sells stuff for doll's houses, there's no way I'm coming out empty-handed. My latest shopping trip saw me come out with this lot (ruler shows centimetres):

The scissors have already been made into earrings (which sold):

I also have a tiny tea set which is being made into various items of jewellery.

But I'm not alone in my love of dinky things. Check out this selection of tiny lovelies....

Absolutely adorable! There's nothing in this world which cannot be improved by tinification. (Well, with the possible exception of already tiny things... Yeah, I didn't really think that one through...)
